As they occur, we will be adding pictures of
local events to give you a flavor of what we do and who we
are in Elwood. The first set of pictures are
from our past and will be part of the quasquicentennial book
that will be available later this summer.

A big thanks to the Innocents from UNL who
came to town on March 26th and helped with some cleanup projects
at library, Elwood Care Center, high school and for the village. Your help
was greatly appreciated! |

The pictures above and
to the left are from some of the participating businesses who provide snacks,
little free gifts and the chance to register to win Chamber bucks. Usually
there are fire truck and horse and buggy rides, but this year was just too
cold. We still had a good time. |

Of course Santa makes his annual appearance. This year the Methodist Church also provided
a live nativity scene on Main Street. |
